Student Flights needed a recruitment video that engaged their Gen Y demographic, so it had to be fast-paced, laidback and fun.
Their budget was pretty tight allowing only for a small crew and a one-day shoot that had to happen overnight while the Student Flights outlet was closed.
The chosen Student Flights location was small so I choose to shoot on my Sony F5 camera, which gives great shallow depth of field pictures while capturing a broadcast HD quality file.
The crew on the night consisted of myself, the cameraman, Charlie Bravo director Charles Hamlyn Harris, and a make-up artist. This was not only due to a small budget but also small location.
